Here is the Diversity You Are Seeking
Ever need a mew food tip or recipe and just cannot find what you would like? There is a Facebook site called Foodista that is full of tips, recipes, and additions by Facebook subscribers and fun ideas that just might fit the bill! The commercial for Foodista was posted alongside my own Facebook site; upon clicking on it, I was instantly hooked. It is a fun site with many different ideas and people contributing to the food community.
What Can You Do On Foodista?
If you like, you can add comments, or write your own blog about food and all its components. Foodista honors its contributors with “wine blog of the day” food blog of the day” and other kudos. The site itself is totally diverse from where to find and use brown grocery bags for draining fried foods to the amount of vitamins in iceberg compared to romaine lettuce!
Is It Fun?
There are food facts, tips of the day and national food of the day on this site as well as other information. Sarcasm and humor abound as in “author unknown” who wrote “There is a lot more juice in grapefruit than meets the eye. “
Having found Foodista it seemed other sites were also out there that could add to the recipe box. Many are operated with the brand names of food corporations at the top. Land of Lakes, Nestles, Crisco, Velveeta to name just a few all have sites that feature recipes and how to ideas but none could compare with the diversity and fun offered on Foodista.
The main thing that caught my eye is that today is National Penuche Fudge Day! How can anyone go wrong with a site that raises its flag to fudge?
Check out this site and see if you can add or top some of its wonderful ideas about food, wine, condiments and fun!
