Even if you are not the outdoor, hiking, cycling,swimming or anything besides just sitting and listening this canteen is the way to go! The fact that it is made of stainless steel means it is dishwasher safe, will not break, keeps liquid at same temperature longer than plastic. Those facts alone make it worthy but the clincher for any health care professional is the "safe serve" factor. Stainless steel is easily rid of bacteria.
Plastic is OK, but eventually it gets to where you can taste the plastic, then it gets this coating or opaque quality to the container that is definitly not pleasing to the taste buds. Although plastic is also dishwasher safe, it is not easily rid of bacteria. That is why in the healthcare profession many products are plastic and disposable.
This is the first "green" product I have seen that made me personally go
"Oh dude, good idea!"
